There is no viable competitive scene without its map makers, and its custom maps that get the best out of the gameplay mechanics. There is no better way for map makers to test their maps in a coordinated, high-awareness game, than playing it in a competitive setting. We know it. You know it. Therefore we deliver it: the HAMMER MONTH. A full month of playing the weekly CompTF2C PuGs (pick-up games) in TF2C Mapping Community maps every other week.

Find the dates, chosen maps, and surprise details of the finest collaboration between the two communities below. In January this year, the mention of a potential TF2C tournament was made in TF2C Competitive Discord server by the official resources, i.e. us.
In the following weeks, we heard back details about our own creation-in-progress, from a variety of members of the community. Some distorted by the game of gossip, some surprisingly accurate. It would not be wise to expect something less from the community of a leak-based game anyway.

Therefore, it is no secret to the close follower that something potentially big has been going on. Let us confirm it for the distant follower as well: Yes, something has been going on. And it is big.
